Consultancy Agreement
Between Mr. and B.L. Managing Co., Limited
1. Scope of consultancy
Project monitor/consultancy for B.L.
2. Duties
Stay in shipyard, as owner’s representative, monitoring working progress and have Owner updated.
3. Commencement/Duration
Commencement is at (Shipyard) until termination of the project.
4. Place of work
Place of work will be. The location of work may be changed to any other place in China by the company if considered necessary for business reasons. Compensation will be given to cover reasonable extra cost.
5. Consultancy fees
A: The consultancy fees amount to USD per month and to be paid before 10th of next month. The fees include government required social insurance, overtime, communication costs, accommodation, and taxes.
B: the consultant is entitled to take 10 working days/year as paid holidays. The timing of such holidays must be agreed beforehand with shipowner.
6. Governmental insurances(illness/pension/unemployment)
The consultant is to ensure that all laws and regulations concerning government social laws/insurances being complied with by himself.
7. Taxation/social insurance plans
The company has no obligation whatsoever to pay any taxed/contributions on behalf of the consultant.
8. Probation
The probation period is three months, if both sides have any comment, may carry on the negotiation, and has the right to terminate the contract
9. Termination
The contact is for the project as defined in item2, but may be extended to cover a further newbuilding supervision job, consultancy fees for the latter task will be agreed with Mr. once contracts in between the shipowners and B.L. have been formally signed.
This contract may be terminated earlier following a one month notice time.
Should you wish to accept this offer, please sign both copies, retain one copy for your files, and send back one copy back to B.L.
